"-ish" is a strange ending to a word.  you can't really add it on to things and not come across as somehow discriminatory.  like white-ish or black-ish or gay-ish.  just get a bad vibe from it.  except jewish.  one can say 'she's jewish' but saying 'she's a jew' is somehow worse off.  then Spanish is the lazy form of people speaking something from spain?

who gets to decide what really is offensive?  the news always shows someone who is saying someones statements have been offensive to some group of people.  its more amusing when the spokesman or the outraged person isn't even part of the offended group.  saying how a group should be offended is just a load of moose-dookie.  i can't remember the last time someone was on the news saying how white males should be offended by anything...is that because its racist for white people to be offended?  i don't know.  theres that whole shpiel about how white people don't have a white history month, but that we used to have the whole year until we started to feel bad and start handing out months...i feel strange using 'we' in that sentence.

i really don't get offended as a white person.  i get more upset when people say things are racist.  why do comedians get to get away with things that offend people and the rest of us can't?  just because a person has a stereotype or a joke about them is that the worst thing in the world?

the only reason a person gets upset with another person is because that persons reaction to someone else.  a person can't control what another person says but you have the ability to control how you react to something.  the reason i don't like some people is because i don't like things they have done.  but still my thoughts that tell me to not like that person are still my thoughts as to remember to hate or be upset with them.  instinctually getting mad at someone for making fun of you for something you do is your natural defense to getting made fun of.  calling someone a racist i always felt was often more racist than a comment that might mention skin color.  if you want to call someone a racist you have to already be convinced that its going to be racist and has no other meaning.  so basically aren't you assuming someone is a racist by calling them a racist?  and by assuming then you don't really give any benefit of the doubt to a person.

hearing a comment then assuming someone said it because you think they assumed something is still an assumption and makes you look like a dick.

people are stupid, and mostly overly aggressive when listening to people.  i wish people would listen better and stop assuming such horrible things behind comments.

i like to make fun of people when they say things that i find are worded strangely or at least i could rearrange their words just to tease them a little bit.  usually i do this in a friendly context.  thats my bit of sense of humor. if they don't like it then we're probably not friends.

its no fun if you can't make jokes about people.  there should be protected classes of people you can't make jokes about?  i say that with a question mark since well if you can't say anything about other people then what can you say?  am i only supposed to make comments about white people?  thats silly.  because of every little subsection of the hunan race does something funny at one point or another.  i mean there are holocaust jokes out there.  just let that soak in i'd say.

or you could just argue we are all just human beings and why not get to make jokes about ourselves?  can't laugh at ourselves then what can we laugh at?  others?  WELL THATS JUST WRONG!  ah fuck em'

if we can't laugh then what else should we do?  laughing is a great stress release and a great coping mechanism.  i laugh and make jokes about people that tick me off and i laugh and make some jokes about other people sometimes so that they will lighten up and laugh it off as well. sometimes it doesn't work.  so what?  you laugh at when i make fun of other people but don't laugh at yourself?  is that  lesson you should take in?

people make fun of me ill just take it or enjoy it.  people started just calling me boob since my name's bobby and i grew to just go with that and it doesn't bother me at all.  another example of me choosing to not be bothered by something.

people need to lighten up.  and i need to go to sleep.
